CAIR-LA, Law Firm to File Suit Over Denial of Lomita Mosque Permit

(LOS ANGELES, CA, 3/21/12) -- On Wednesday, March 21, the Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA), along with the law firm of Hadsell Stormer Keeny Richardson & Renick LLP (HSKRR), will file a legal complaint against the City of Lomita for denying the Islamic Center of South Bay’s (ICSB) application to rebuild and renovate its facilities.

Last year, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) opened a civil rights investigation of the decision by the city to deny the mosque's land use application.
