CAIR-LA, Law Firm to File Suit Over Denial of Lomita Mosque Permit
(LOS ANGELES, CA, 3/21/12) -- On Wednesday, March 21, the Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA), along with the law firm of Hadsell Stormer Keeny Richardson & Renick LLP (HSKRR), will file a legal complaint against thefor denying the Islamic Center of South Bay’s (ICSB) application to rebuild and renovate its facilities.
Last year, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) opened a civil rights investigation of the decision by the city to deny the mosque's land use application.
