CAIR: NJ Muslims to Express Concerns About NYPD Spying

(SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ, 2/24/12) ­- On Friday, February 24, the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ), along with the Rutgers University Muslim Alumni Association, the National Islamic Association (NIA), the Islamic Center of Passaic County (ICPC), and Omar Mosque (Paterson, N.J.), will hold a news conference in Newark to address concerns about the unconstitutional spying conducted by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) on the Muslim community in that state.

Local Muslim religious leaders will take part in the news conference.
