  • Muslims Compared to 'Cockroaches' at Mo. Hate Group's Event
    Is anti-Muslim Sentiment at Crestwood Venue an Echo of Nazi Germany?

    The St. Louis chapter of ACT! for America, a Florida-based, anti-Islam group. . .organized the meeting. . .In the civic heart of Missouri's best child-rearing community, the executive director of an anti-Islam organization looked down from a white screen and told a dozen people that tolerance was the enemy in the fight against Muslims. "They're everywhere," one woman in the audience whispered to her friend. "They're like cockroaches."
  • CAIR: Atheist Banner Left Out of Pa. Nativity Display
    Ibrahim Hooper [of CAIR] in Washington, D.C., said he was just getting ready to send out his annual Christmastime editorial about what Christians and Muslims can find in common. The creche is consistent with the Quran, he said. Although Muslims don't hold some Christian beliefs about Jesus, "In Islam, Jesus -- peace be upon him -- is revered as a prophet of God, equal to the prophet Muhammad," he said. "We believe in the virgin birth."

      Recently I attended a fundraising dinner for [CAIR-LA] at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. This stimulating and uplifting event involved more than 1,800 mostly Muslim people celebrating the theme of "Making Democracy Work." Had you been there, you would have been just as proud of these loyal Americans as I was.

      Several other activists will be recognized at the banquet, including Vanessa G. Fluker, Detroit attorney; Fr. Roy Bourgeois, senior cleric, Maryknoll Missionaries and founder of the SOA Watch; and Dawud Walid, executive director [of CAIR-MI] and Iman of Masjid Wali Muhammad.
