"After more than four months only two detainees have been transferred out of the 166 men who were held at Guantanamo on the day of your [May] speech," say the groups, which include the American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International, the Center for Constitutional Rights, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Human Rights Watch and the U.S. branch of the Presbyterian Church.

CAIR-MN received the 2013 Difference Makers Award from the American Bar Association's Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division for "making a difference through pro bono work." Last year, CAIR-MN handled 180 pro bono cases of discrimination, hate and bias, assisting nearly 500 Minnesotans.
