CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad today joined other American Muslim and Arab-American leaders at a meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan in Washington, D.C. Topics of discussion included the ongoing conflict in Syria and the Middle East peace process.

More than 200 people turned out on Saturday for the annual banquet of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of CAIR-Texas. The sold-out event featured addresses by CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad, ACLU Texas Executive Director Terri Burke and Egyptian-American Rule of Law Association President Sahar Aziz.
