Last week, Rudy Giuliani said, "For four days in Denver, the Democrats were afraid to use the words 'Islamic terrorism.' I imagine they believe it is politically incorrect to say it. I think they believe it will insult someone. Please tell me, who are they insulting if they say Islamic terrorism? They are insulting terrorists."

Really? I would have imagined they were simply trying to show the world that patriotism does not equal bigotry. I would imagine they were simply taking a stand against all those who tend to equate violent acts of a minority of so-called Muslims with the religion itself.

Let me tell you something: You cannot defame a whole entire religion based on how some misguided followers misconstrue it or twist its teaching for political aims. You look at the holy book, and you look at the conduct of its founder. Anyone who reads the Quran or studies the life of the Prophet Muhammad without prejudice will know that Islam is not a religion of terrorism. It says quite firmly there is "no compulsion in religion" and affirms the Bible's teaching that if you kill one man, you kill all of mankind.
